  • A $100.00 non-refundable registration fee is required for all courses. Please read carefully the enrollment / refund conditions.
  • General English classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. OR from 1:30 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.
  • Timetable may vary without notice. Please ask for the class hours before enrolling
  • All group programs have a maximum of 14 students in a class.
  • If Monday is a holiday, classes will start on Tuesday.
  • Absolute beginners are required to attend private classes until they can reach the A1 Beginner level.

EXECUTIVE ENGLISH COURSES
EXECUTIVE ENGLISH EX 20 lessons   800/week

  • Executive Programs start on the First and Third Monday of each month.
  • Executive classes have a maximum of 5 students.
  • Level Requirement- Upper intermediate. Students who don't meet the level requirement may be assigned to a General English Course.
  • TLA reserves the right to cancel the course by giving students a 2-week notice, with all monies refunded.
  • Executive Group classes may be combined with ESP one-to-one lessons including English for Tourism, Law, Marketing, Trade, Finance and Aviation.
TEST PREPARATION PROGRAMS
TOEFL-TOEIC-IELTS TP 20 lessons + self-study (practice) 17 900/ 4 weeks $220
  • The minimum enrollment for the TOEFL preparation course is 4 weeks.
  • TOEFL textbook and materials fee- $75
  • Minimum level Requirement- Intermediate B2
  • TOEIC exam and TLA administrative fee = US $110.00 (TLA is a TOEIC test center).
  • TLA is an official iBT TOEFL Test center. However, it is not guaranteed that students will be able to sit the exam at TLA, due to availability on test day.
  • TOEFL students are responsible for making their own test appointment with ETS and ensuring their own transportation to the Test Center.
  • The TOEFL test fee (credit card required) is payable directly to ETS Corporation and can only be paid online.
CAMBRIDGE FCE AND CAE CAM 1 30 lessons 27 3,500/ 10 weeks

  • The Cambridge $375 exam and administrative processing fee is NOT included in the tuition. It is non-refundable.
  • Cambridge textbook and materials fee- $75
  • Level Requirement- For the FCE: Intermediate B2 - For the CAE: Upper intermediate C1
  • Test dates may change without notice. The Cambridge test center is located in Miami. Students must arrange their own transportation to the Center.

  • In 2011, there will be no classes on: April 22, May 30, July 4, September 5, November 24 and 25, December 23 and December 30. Classes missed because of holidays will not be refunded or replaced.
  • All approved refunds will be made within 30 days to the entity that paid for the course.
  • If the course cancellation occurs prior to the course commencement date, monies paid will be refunded in full, except for the registration fee, test fees and insurance paid by the School on behalf of the student and mailing expenses for I-20 forms and/ or materials.
  • TLA reserves the right to replace group classes with private classes. Please read the enrollment rules and conditions carefully
  • AIRPORT TRANSFERS: 1 way from or to Miami International airport: $ 190 - 1 way from or to Fort Lauderdale airport: $ 90
